Thomas Ligotti ( 9. Juli 1953 ) Autor von Horrorliteratur und Phantastik

Seine Erzählungen erschienen zunächst in Magazinen der US-Smallpress. 1986 kam es mit Songs of a Dead Dreamer zu seiner ersten Buchveröffentlichung.

Neben zahlreichen Beiträgen in Anthologien und Magazinen, Gedichten sowie Coproduktionen mit dem britischen Musiker David Tibet folgten bis heute acht weitere Bände mit Erzählungen: Grimscribe: His Lives and Works (1991), Noctuary (1994), The Agonizing Ressurection of Victor Frankenstein & Other Gothic Tales (1994), The Nightmare Factory (1996), In A Foreign Town, In A Foreign Land (1997), My Work Is Not Yet Done: Three Tales of Corporate Horror (2002), Sideshow and Other Stories (2002) sowie Crampton (2003).

In Gigers VAMPIRRIC ist Ligotti mit der Kurzgeschichte:" Die verlorengegangene Kunst des Zwielichts" zu finden.
